Over the course of several successful horror films, I’ve worked with top-tier Canadian funding bodies including Telefilm Canada and private equity investors to bring genre-driven stories to life on tight budgets. My role included negotiating with SAG and ACTRA, overseeing union compliance, managing chain of title, and ensuring all projects were legally cleared for international sales.

Bad Press is a sharp, fast-paced comedy about censorship, media spin and the absurdity of influencer culture. Co-written and directed by Kyle McCachen, the project is backed by development funding from the Canada Media Fund. The film is produced by Letterkennys Dylan Playfair, who also stars alongside Letterkenny co-star Andrew Herr. With its satirical tone and energetic performances, Bad Press dives headfirst into the chaos of modern media and what happens when truth becomes just another brand.
